Schedule: Monday nights 6:30-8:30 pm

Location: Comma, a bookshop, 4250 Upton Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55410
Cost: $150
What to bring: Journal or notebook, pens or pencils (no electronic devices), and water bottle.

What Is Linden Hills Writers Group
Sometimes all you need is a nudge.
Linden Hills Writers Group is a warm, inviting space to write for the sake of writing.
The facilitator will provide several writing prompts per session and give you time to write.
At the end of each prompt, participants are invited to share their work aloud, and receive positive comments.
We write on paper with pen or pencil only -- no laptops or tablets allowed. Keyboard clacking can be distracting, as can squiggly red lines that invite you to edit as you go. There is a time to edit. This is the time to write.
Most offerings are for adults only. Keep an eye out for occasional offerings for kids and teens.

Meet Abbi Palsma
I'm like you. I'm a writer with a day job that I love, an unfinished novel, and a few bylines to my name. Long ago I found my voice as a fiction writer through a writers group similar to this one. Up to that point, I had only written non-fiction, but with a few simple prompts, I found a rhythm.Writers are motivated by so many things. Curiosity. A way with words. A desire to publish. Wobbly confidence and unexpected bravery. Bring that spark, and let's find out what you will write.
